These terms apply when you use TokPDF. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

1. Acceptance
By using TokPDF (tokpdf.com and any related TokPDF apps), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
TokPDF provides free tools to view, edit, convert and organize PDF and other documents. Processing happens in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time, and we do not guarantee that the service will be available without interruption.
3. Your files and your responsibility
You keep all rights to the files you process. You are responsible for having the right to use and modify them, and for complying with applicable law. Do not use TokPDF to infringe others' rights, to remove protections from documents you are not authorized to unlock, or for any unlawful purpose.
4. Open-source license
The TokPDF web application is based on PDFCraft and is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License v3.0. The complete source code of the version running on this site is available at https://tokpdf.com/source/tokpdf-source.tar.gz. Third-party components are used under their own licenses. The TokPDF name and logo are not covered by the open-source license.
5. No warranty
TokPDF is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Conversions, OCR and edits may not be perfectly accurate. Always check the output and keep a copy of your original files.
6. Electronic signatures
Electronic signatures and digital certificates created with TokPDF are generated on your device for convenience. They are not issued or verified by a certification authority and may not meet the legal requirements for qualified electronic signatures in your jurisdiction.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of TokPDF. Because the service is free, our total liability is limited to USD 50.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of Singapore, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country provides otherwise.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. Questions: support@tokpdf.com.
