About This Tool

PowerPoint to PDF converts Microsoft PowerPoint presentations into PDF format, preserving slide content and text for easy sharing and viewing.

Each slide becomes a page in the PDF, maintaining the presentation flow. Perfect for sharing presentations with people who don't have PowerPoint installed.

All conversion happens locally in your browser, ensuring your presentations remain private and secure.

Since animations and transitions do not carry over, check any slide that builds up content in steps and make sure the final state shows everything you want readers to see. Embedded videos become static frames, so add a link if viewers need to watch them. Remove hidden or backup slides you do not intend to share, and if your deck uses unusual fonts, review the PDF for any text that shifted. Older .ppt files must be saved as .pptx first.

Slide decks often hold unreleased plans: pitch numbers, product roadmaps, client proposals. TokPDF converts them with WebAssembly inside your browser, so the presentation is never uploaded to a server along the way. The result is a single PDF anyone can open on any device, created without PowerPoint and without handing your deck to a conversion service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are animations preserved?

PDF is a static format, so animations and transitions are not preserved. Each slide becomes a static page.

Is .ppt format supported?

Currently only .pptx format is supported. Please convert .ppt files to .pptx first.

Are speaker notes included?

Currently, speaker notes are not included in the PDF output.

How do I convert a PowerPoint to PDF without PowerPoint?

Load your PPTX file into TokPDF's PowerPoint to PDF tool in any modern browser. The conversion happens locally in the browser, so no Office installation is needed. Each slide becomes one page in the downloaded PDF.

Can I convert Google Slides or Keynote to PDF here?

Export the presentation as a PPTX file first. In Google Slides use File, Download, Microsoft PowerPoint; in Keynote use File, Export To, PowerPoint. Then load the PPTX here. Both apps can also export PDF directly if you prefer.

Will the PDF keep my slide size and layout?

Each slide is rendered as a page that follows the slide's proportions, such as 16:9 or 4:3. Text, images, and shapes are kept, though complex effects or uncommon fonts may render slightly differently than in PowerPoint.

Can I make handouts with several slides per page?

The converter produces one slide per page. To place several slides on one sheet for printing, you can use your PDF viewer's print settings for multiple pages per sheet, or TokPDF's page layout tools to combine pages into a grid.
