Translate PDF translates the text of your document page by page with a modern AI model that understands context, so sentences read naturally instead of word by word. Watch the translation appear next to the original, page by page, and compare the two side by side.
When it is done, download the translation as a new PDF, as a Word document (.docx) or as plain text. Be aware that this version translates the text, not the layout: the new PDF contains the translated text flowed onto clean pages, marked by original page number, without the original images, columns or tables. For the most faithful formatting in right-to-left and complex scripts, choose Word.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the translated PDF keep the original layout?
Not in this version. TokPDF translates the text and lays it out again on clean pages, one section per original page. Images, columns and tables are not reproduced. The side-by-side view and the Word download make it easy to compare with the original.
Is PDF translation free?
Yes, a number of pages per day are free without an account. TokPDF Pro translates many more pages per day.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The file stays on your device. The extracted text is sent page by page to our AI server for translation and is not stored or used for training.
Can it translate scanned PDFs?
Yes. If the pages have no text layer, TokPDF can run OCR in your browser first and then translate the recognized text.
